Originally from Amarillo, Texas, Thomas is a versatile, award winning actor based in Sullivan County, NY. He spent over 20 years on Wall Street before commencing his acting and writing career at the Upright Citizens Brigade in 2013. Thomas won his first acting award after being cast in the lead role of a short film submitted to the 2014 48-Hour Film Project.
Recent projects include writing and performing the sketch comedy show Times Up! for Comedy Tribe, in Narrowsburg, NY. Recent film projects include the new Indie feature length thriller An Angry Boy, with Thomas as the lead role of psychopath Mark Doucette, and And Through The Portal We Go. Both are currently streaming on Amazon Prime and other major sites. Other film projects include the short film by Michael Barosky, Enigmatic, shot on location in Narrowsburg, NY. and featured in the Big Eddy Film Festival. Thomas is an ensemble cast member of the River Rep Theater Company, where he most recently delivered the role of Jokebot 3000 in the AI inspired dark comedy Tomorrow Today, and Cassandra, the kooky housekeeper in the Christopher Durang play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.
He lives in the Catskill Mountains of New York State with his Labrador Retrievers Maude & Babe.
